Ecology Center Farmers' Markets

BERKELEY, California

The Ecology Center has operated open-air certified farmers' markets in Berkeley since 1987, where California farmers sell directly to shoppers. There are three locations: Downtown Berkeley (Center Street at M.L. King Jr. Way), North Berkeley (Shattuck Avenue at Vine Street), and South Berkeley (Adeline Street and 63rd Street). Vendors offer fruits, vegetables, nuts, baked goods, jams, juices, olive oils, meat, cheese, prepared foods, nursery plants, and flowers. The markets accept CalFresh EBT and WIC, and offer Market Match dollar-for-dollar matching.
