Ardenwood Historic Farm

Ardenwood Historic Farm is an East Bay Regional Park District farm in Fremont that depicts family farm life between 1890 and 1930 on the former estate of George and Clara Patterson. Visitors can see farm animals including sheep, chickens, rabbits, goats, and cows, and tour the historic Hay Barn with its tractors and farming implements. During the historic season (April through mid-November), costumed docents lead guided tours of the Patterson House and operate the farm's train from Arden Station on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
