Bloomfield Farms is an organic farm near Valley Ford and Bloomfield, northwest of Petaluma, that runs a U-Pick program where visitors harvest their own produce in the fields. Pickers can cut a variety of seasonal vegetables such as Swiss chard, lettuce, kale, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, green beans, tomatillos, and herbs, and the farm also offers strawberries, farm-fresh eggs, and farm-made products. Farm tours are also available. Visitors are advised to bring a knife, gloves, hats, and sunscreen.
