Swallowtail Farm is a biodynamic Community Supported Agriculture farm in the historic Rochelle district of southeast Gainesville/Alachua, Florida. It uses minimal-tillage methods with no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, and raises a small dairy herd of Jersey blends, laying hens, heritage breed pigs, and Katahdin sheep. Farm products are sold through the Swallowtail Bodega at Afternoon Coffee Shop in Gainesville, and the farm hosts pizza picnics, farm-to-table dining, workshops, tours, and private events.
