Al's Family Farms

Fort Pierce, Florida

Al's Family Farms is a family-owned citrus operation in Fort Pierce, Florida's Indian River Citrus District, in business since 1977 and centered on a historic 1939 red barn packinghouse. Visitors can take self-guided tours of the citrus washing and packing machinery, walk the observation grove with USDA trial trees and tropical plants, and enjoy the O.J. Corral recreation area with putt-putt golf. The on-site store sells fresh citrus, peaches, vegetables, juices, baked goods, and gift baskets, and Al's Red Barn Grill serves lunch.

Hours: Store hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, closed Sundays. Self-guided tours operate mid-November through April.
