Blueberry Woman Dead Creek Ranch

Dead Creek Ranch (Blueberry Woman) is a blueberry farm in Bradford County between Gainesville and Starke. Visitors can pick their own blueberries or buy already-picked berries, and the farm has a picnic area and nature trails. Three varieties are grown: Tifblue (slightly tart, good for canning and baking), Choice (very sweet for fresh eating), and Powderblue (long shelf life). The berries are grown pesticide-free, fertilized with horse manure, hand-weeded, and mulched.
