Brook Hollow Farm
Orlando, Florida
Brook Hollow Farm is a family-owned hydroponic, vertical farm in west Orlando near Ocoee. After the property's orange groves were hit by citrus greening, the owners opened a U-pick operation where visitors can pick strawberries off the plants with no bending or getting dirty. Seasonally the farm also grows thornless blackberries, several tomato varieties, spinach, zucchini, yellow squash, kale, jalapeno and green peppers, multiple lettuce varieties, watermelon, cantaloupe, green beans, and cucumbers.
