The Capital District Regional Market in Menands is a farmers market cooperative established in 1933 and recognized by the USDA as a Regional Food Hub. Its Saturday retail market is held in a fully enclosed pavilion with free parking and restrooms, where visitors can buy local produce, plants, artisanal foods, and handmade goods. A separate wholesale market sells fresh produce, plants, and flowers in bulk to farm stands, restaurants, and the public. The pavilion also hosts year-round events.
