The Poughkeepsie Farm Project is a community-supported agriculture (CSA) and food-justice nonprofit founded in 1999, farming at 51 Vassar Farm Lane in Poughkeepsie. Members buy a share and pick up weekly distributions of vegetables, herbs, and flowers; full-season shares run 23 weeks from June through November, with fall, winter, fruit, berry, egg, cheese, and yogurt shares also offered. The farm runs education programs, volunteer and workshare opportunities, seasonal plant sales, and a farm store, and donates produce and sponsors shares for neighbors in need.
