Montgomery Place Orchards
Town of Red Hook, New York
Montgomery Place Orchards is a family-run farm on historic Hudson River land in Red Hook, established as a commercial nursery in 1802 by Janet Livingston Montgomery. Visitors can shop the farm market (the historic 1935 Wayside Stand), where the orchard sells its own fruit alongside local cheese and dairy, meat, and honey. The farm grows close to 70 varieties of apples plus other fruits and some vegetables, and makes Annandale Atomic Hard Cider on-site from its own apples.
