The Watauga County Farmers' Market has served as Boone's town square since 1974, hosting 60+ vendors at Daniel Boone Park. Shoppers can buy produce, seasonal fruits and berries, local jams, honey, baked goods, eggs, goat cheeses, locally raised meats, fresh herbs, microgreens, and mushrooms. The market also offers cut and dried flowers, wreaths, plants and garden starts, plus farm crafts including wool items, woodcarvings, jewelry, pottery, metalwork, and original art.
