F&W Schmitt's Family Farm

F&W Schmitt's Family Farm is a family-owned seasonal farm in Melville on Long Island, established in 1944. In spring it runs retail greenhouses selling flowering hanging baskets, annual flats, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants. Each fall (September through November) it hosts a weekend and holiday festival with pumpkin picking, a 7-acre corn maze, hayrides and tractor rides, a petting zoo, a long-running haunted house, and games such as mini golf and mechanical pig races, plus food vendors and a bakery.
