F&W Schmitt Family Farm is a family-owned seasonal farm in Melville on Long Island, established in 1944. In spring its greenhouses sell flowering hanging baskets, annuals, home-grown herbs, vegetable plants, perennials and patio planters. From September through November it runs a Fall Festival on weekends and holidays with pumpkin picking, a 7-acre corn maze, hayrides, a petting zoo, mini golf, a playground, and a long-running haunted house attraction.
