Pierson Bicentinial Farm And Greenhouseuse
Middletown, New York
Pierson's Farm is a 270-acre Hudson Valley farm established in 1790, run by a 7th-generation farming family. In fall (Labor Day weekend through early November), visitors can pick their own pumpkins and sunflowers, navigate corn mazes, take hayrides and barrel train rides, try gem mining, and visit an animal barn and children's play area for a general admission fee. From the day after Thanksgiving through December 23 it offers cut-your-own and pre-cut Christmas trees plus wreath-making classes. A farm store sells frozen grass-fed Black Angus beef, farm-raised pork, honey, maple syrup, and jam.
